Collection of Your personal information

You can always visit any of our group websites or blogs without giving any information about yourself. However, there will be times when we may need to correspond with you for information from you, for example-

1. To write a reply or to correspond in some manner, for example, write to you with a customer service enquiry.
2. To resolve a payment query.
3. To provide a user name and password for one of our products.
4 To contact you for customer satisfaction surveys, market research or in connection with certain transactions.
5. By the Group and its business partners, for marketing purposes if you have permitted such use.

Storing of Your personal information

One week after any race is completed, all balloon purchase information including GDPR preferences is passed over to the Cause or Charity manager. Once the Group receives confirmation of receipt in writing from the cause / charity manager, the group permanently deletes all records except your registered account with us.

No financial information ( credit / debit card / bank details ) is ever stored.

Managing your Personal Information

Other than the correspondence aspects discussed in the section above, the main source of personal information given is when you create an account on Rentaballoonrace to buy or gift virtual balloons.

This will include your name, email address, post code and agreement or not to future marketing from your chosen charity under GDPR rules of compliance. Your home address is not mandatory. Creating an account also requires you to register a username and password so you can gain secure access to your account in the future.

You may at any point request that we delete some or all of the personal data we hold on you by completing the contact us form or alternatively, writing directly to [email protected]

How Long Do We Keep Your Data?

After a race has finished and all balloon purchasing information has been passed through to your supported charity, the only data kept is your account details. These are kept in an identifiable form for as long as we have a legitimate reason to use the data and as required by law.
